Lavender Heart

The inspiration for my lavender heart design came straight from nature and the warming romantic scent of lavender on a summer’s day. This invitation was from my pre-designed collection to which the bride added her own text, the incredibly romantic Emily Bronte quote “whatever souls are made of, his and mine are the same”, instead of ‘wedding invitation’ on the front of the card.

The heart is made of crushed dried lavender so gives of a wonderful scent; the text on the front of the invitation is in purple foil. The card itself is white with a lilac mulberry paper insert.

This very simple and romantic design is an excellent example of how existing designs can be tailored to suit your personal tastes and wedding theme with a little imagination.
